On June 14, as early summer brought lush greenery to the Jiangnan region, Lead Intelligent Equipment (hereafter referred to as LEAD) partnered with the Taihu Carbon Inclusion and Green Development Center to launch a public welfare initiative titled “Clean Mountains, Greener Future with LEAD” at Hushan National Forest Park in Wuxi, China. Dozens of LEAD employees took part in a hands-on cleanup effort, highlighting the company’s commitment to environmental preservation through direct, meaningful action.
Hushan Mountain—often called the “green lungs” of Wuxi—holds both cultural and ecological significance. During the event, LEAD volunteers in matching uniforms combed the forest trails, collecting plastic bottles, cigarette butts, and other litter. Set against the backdrop of sunlight and lush summer foliage, their efforts offered a compelling image of environmental stewardship in action. To further engage the public, the event also featured an educational segment on waste decomposition cycles and low-carbon living, emphasizing the importance of turning environmental awareness into everyday practice.
“I walked 8 kilometers picking up trash today—my knees are sore, but it feels good,” said one LEAD volunteer with a smile. “Just like our precision work on the factory floor, where every micron counts, we didn’t leave a single cigarette butt behind. It’s incredibly rewarding to see the forest clean again.“
More than just a cleanup effort, the initiative served as a hands-on lesson in ecological awareness. With each step, participants fulfilled their environmental pledge, embodying the belief that “lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets.” The event reflects LEAD’s enduring commitment to its ESG philosophy—Manufacturing for Good—by weaving sustainability into both its operations and corporate culture.
For years, LEAD has made social responsibility a core part of its development strategy. In environmental protection, the company has organized recurring mountain cleanups and waste-removal campaigns, engaging hundreds of employees. In education, LEAD established a RMB 10 million scholarship fund at Xishan Senior High School and launched the Wang Yanqing Scholarship at leading universities such as Tsinghua and Southeast University, supporting nearly 100 students each year. In community care, its volunteer teams regularly assist elderly residents with daily needs. On the social welfare front, the company has supported numerous philanthropic initiatives, including a personal donation of RMB 20 million by Chairman Wang Yanqing to advance public health causes.
From advancing smart manufacturing to protecting the environment, LEAD grounds its ESG strategy in the vision: “Empowering Energy Transition with Intelligent Equipment Solutions.” Looking ahead, the company will continue working closely with stakeholders to drive technological innovation while safeguarding our shared planet—one green step at a time.
